Eagles versus Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia: Ebuehi replaces injured Ndidi

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser/Chief Coach Gernot Rohr has drafted FC Twente of Netherlands’ defender Tyronne Ebuehi to replace injured Leicester City FC of England’s defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi for the October FIFA friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia in October 9th and 13th in Austria, www.adantesports.com.ng reports.

Ndidi had actually suffered a hamstring strain during last weekend’s 1-1 score draw  at Chelsea in which the Super Eagles battling defensive midfielder had headed in the equalizer.

“Ndidi is replaced by Tyronne. Wilfred should be back for November games.

“Tyronne is a full back playing again in Twente now. (Semi) Ajayi can play in midfield and Awaziem in central défense”,  Rohr told SPORTINGLIFE.

The Eagles’ handler had adequately planned for the unexpected when he drafted a list of 25 players and 5 standby which was released on Tuesday.
